Our Plan

CORBON REDUCTION PLAN

Purview Consultancy Services Ltd is committed to achieving Net Zero emissions by 2050

Baseline Emissions Footprint

  1. Baseline emissions are a record of the greenhouse gases that have been produced in the past and were produced prior to the introduction of any strategies to reduce emissions. Baseline emissions are the reference point against which emissions reduction can be measured.
  2. The Purview Carbon Reduction Plan for the United Kingdom has been completed in compliance with PPN 06/21. Our Carbon Emissions in 2022 have been measured in line with GHG Protocol and details of the calculations for the emissions are available on request.
  3. The number of Purview employees varies on an annual basis, but for the purposes of the Plan, it has been assumed that there are ten full time permanent employees, of which four utilise the headquarter building and six are permanent home workers. These assumptions have been used in all calculations.

Scope 1

  1. Purview are tenants in their headquarter building, which is managed by Citibase and as such all data pertaining to this will be reported by Citibase in their annual reports. As a result, this data has been excluded from this Plan, to avoid double reporting.
  2. Purview do not currently have any company vehicles, nor do they provide their staff with company vehicles.
  3. As a direct result of the above, Purview have zero emissions from this category included in our emissions data.

Scope 2

  1. With regard to the Purview headquarter building, we do not purchase electricity, steam, heating and cooling as it is leased from Citibase, who report this in their annual reports.
  2. However, we have measured the emissions released from working from home. This is based upon the assumption that four of our UK based employees spend 4 out of 5 days working from home and the other 1 day from the office, while the remaining six permanent employees work from home every day. In calculating this we have considered heating, lighting and computer consumption.

Scope 3

Purview report against the following categories:

Category 4 - Upstream Transportation and Distribution
  1. Purview does not purchase / sell goods, so this Category is excluded.

Category 6 - Business Travel
  1. As a result of the COVID19 Pandemic and other factors, Business Travel for the Baseline year was limited and it is the intention of Purview to continue to restrict this in coming years and utilize other means of communications.
  2. However, in order to calculate an estimated figure we have assumed limited rail and air travel between our employee home locations and key client bases.

Category 7 - Employee Commuting
